Trusting unseen gods of science
The Point, my only frame of reference

Now I stare towards the floor,
Standing close I stare in awe,
The Point is growing in my mind,
Devouring thoughts, transcending time.

My mind is lost infinitely,
The Point has cost me dearly,
Consuming though it never shows,
A point itself can never grow.

And now we are one and the same,
The Point has grown and it has changed,
The world now spins about us both,
But time no longer offers hope.

WordPress, It’s Like Coding in Someone Else’s Dirty Pants

As a web developer, I have for a while now, been forced to get real and code for WordPress. I’ve done a fair few sites and plugins for this bloater, but somehow I always feel like I’m sat in the back seat of a brown Volvo full of someone else’s dirty pants.

Awesome classic with the inimitable Yul Brynner. The disbelief on the face of James Brolin’s character when he get shot by Brynner’s psycho android is ace. I recently watched the sequel “Futureworld”, but seemed a little flat to me. Ok, to be sure, but just a little lacklustre.
